They say that “great things never come from comfort zones” so, when we worked with Simply Squeezed to brand and package the new Arano Orchards range of juices and refreshers, we ditched the traditional images of fruit and flowing juice and went hard out to do something fresh and new.
Instead of talking about the “product”, we reflected the “experience”– the carefree kiwi summers spent with family and friends... the roadtrips, the bike rides, the days at the beach.
“...It’s the taste of summer. It’s taking a five minute break in the deckchair that turns into a two hour nap. It’s swinging off the tyre rope into the river and landing the perfect bomb. It’s watching your kids stand up on the surfboard for the first time. It’s the taste of New Zealand. Since 1982. And it’s all yours!”
It’s bold, it’s brave, and it stands out as something different in a congested category.
But what about the results? The first month’s sales figures have smashed the predicted numbers, indicating the product, pricing, branding and packaging have all hit the mark with the great New Zealand public. Grab some now, it’s going to be a great summer.
